2.    Exercise. (If you are just opening out, try walking for 30–40 minutes, 4–6 times per week. Consult physician before starting any exercise program.)

3.    Get enough sleep each night so that you wake up feeling well-rested.

4.    During your period, change female care products (e.g., pads, tampons) at least every 4–8 hours.

5.    Use the least absorbent tampon for your menstrual flow.
6.    Avoid or limit caffeine.

7.    Eat smaller, more frequent meals (e.g., three small meals and three snacks).

Home Remedy for Menstrual Problems

1.    The best way to treat menstrual problems would be to have parsley juice, in combination with any other juice. You can mix 75 ml of parsley with beet, carrot or cucumber juice, of the same quantity.

2.    Take a cup of water and add a piece of fresh ginger to it. Make sure to strike the ginger before you put it in the water. Boil the water for a few minutes and then, strain it. Mix a little sugar to the decoction and eat it, after it cools down a bit. Repeat this three times in a day.

3.    Sesame seeds prove to be useful in case of menstrual problems. Take half a tsp of powdered sesame seeds, with a glass of warm water, two times a day.

4.    Consumption of unripe papaya is beneficial for securing a proper menstrual flow. It is also good for girls whose menses have ceased due to stress or tension.

5.    Prepare a bath by immerse an entire Chickpea plant in hot water. This is helpful when there is immense pain during menstruation.

6.    The herb of Marigold is helpful in dipping the pain during menstruation and also increasing the flow. It is advisable to have a tablespoon of this, two times a day.
